There is very little filtering applied to Staff web browsing, however sometimes the user-identification system fails to correctly identify the logged-in user, and the web filter falls-back to only a basic level of internet access. This can occur if a computer is unlocked (rather than logged-in) or when swapping between wired, wireless, or moving locations.
To confirm your identity, simply go to the Captive Portal and enter your username (not email address) and your usual school login password.
