MHS IT Policy for Private Residence Broadband:

 

Purpose: To outline the policy for broadband installation and reimbursement for occupants of private residences associated with MHS.

 

Scope: This policy applies to all occupants of shared accommodations and individual occupants within MHS private residences.

 

Policy:

  1. Shared Accommodations:
    • Broadband will be installed and maintained by MHS for all shared accommodations.

 

  1. Individual Occupants:
    • Individual occupants who require their own broadband service may order it independently.
    • Occupants who are entitled to expense claims can submit their broadband costs for reimbursement.
    • Claims for reimbursement must follow the standard MHS expense claim procedures and provide necessary documentation of broadband service costs.

 

Procedure:

  1. Installation:
    • MHS will coordinate the installation of broadband services in shared accommodations.
    • Any issues with the shared broadband service should be reported to the MHS IT department for resolution.

 

  1. Independent Orders:
    • Individual occupants must select and order their preferred broadband service independently if shared broadband does not meet their needs.
    • Occupants must ensure their service provider and plan comply with any relevant MHS guidelines or requirements.

 

  1. Expense Claims:
    • Entitled occupants can submit a detailed expense report, including receipts and service invoices, to claim reimbursement for their broadband service.
    • Expense claims will be processed in accordance with MHS’s financial policies and procedures.

 

Compliance:

  • All occupants must comply with this policy. Non-compliance may result in denial of reimbursement claims or other actions as deemed necessary by MHS.

 

Review:
