With the new Teams desktop client, users can:
- Receive real-time notifications from all the tenants in your multitenant organization
- Participate in chats, meetings, and calls across all of the tenants without dropping from a call or meeting to switch tenants.
- Set their status for each account and organization individually.
- User profile card shows organization name and email address
In Teams, you may receive a notification that you have new orgs to work with:
You can either Go to Settings by clicking the above, or In Teams, select Settings and more (3 dots), Accounts and orgs, locate Cobham Hall school, and enable the org by moving the slider to the on position.
In Teams, you can now switch between the two orgs.
Switch from Mill Hill Education Group to Cobham Hall:
Switch back from Cobham Hall to Mill Hill Education Group:
In the Cobham Hall org, you will be able to search for any staff member, and either include then in a chat or create a new Team.
Any messages received from the other org will normally be pop-up, and the activity will be highlighted in Teams:
You can however modify any existing Team membership to include a member from the other org (will be shown as External - ignore Guests as they may have been manually added prior to multi-tenant sharing)
