How to edit or create an email signature

School Email Signature

Please note that the school email signatures are automatically appended to all emails sent outside the organisation, there is no longer any need to insert a signature in Outlook. Only the main school number and job title will be shown.
Should your signature still appear when you create an email, in Outlook select Insert > Signature > Signatures...  and set the default for both new messages and replies to No Signature:

You can of course continue to add personal messages as a signature....

Create your own signature and choose when Outlook adds a signature to your messages.

  • Open a new email message.
  • On the Message menu, select Signature > Signatures.... if you have more than one signature, you will find them listed as below

 


  • Under Select signature to edit, choose New, and in the New Signature dialog box, type a name for the signature.


  • Under Edit signature, compose your signature.



and Save.
