To continue improving how staff can log tickets, we are introducing an additional integrated method to log tickets directly from Firefly. In each staff dashboard (there is one dashboard for each school), there is now an IT Helpdesk widget displayed at the bottom-right corner of the Firefly home page:
Clicking on the IT Helpdesk widget offers two options, Search for help, or Submit a ticket:
Searching for help:
Entering a word or simple sentence will locate articles that may assist in solving your problem:
Submitting a ticket:
Alternatively you can submit a ticket. First enter a few basic details:
Advanced features:
Scrolling down a bit further allows you to (optionally) Take a screenshot (very much like Teams sharing). You will be offered a selection of browser tabs, Window, or Entire Screens, simply select the item you wish to share and click Share.
You can also Upload files by dragging and dropping files onto the upload area.
Finally, click Submit.
