iSAMS 2FA is only required when logging-in to iSAMS from outside school. This is an extra security measure to ensure that hackers do not gain access to iSAMS and, as has happened in other schools, email all parents with instructions on how to pay school fees via Bitcoin.

You must co-ordinate 2FA with the Data Manager's before trying to login to iSAMS from home.

  • When you access iSAMS for the first time after iSAMS 2FA is enabled for your account, you will be sent an email with a verification code to enter into iSAMS. You are then shown instructions on how to configure an authenticator app.
  • On your phone, you need to download the App ‘Microsoft Authenticator’ or Google Authenticator if you haven’t already done so.
  • Open the Authenticator app and click on the 3 dots in the top righthand corner.
  • Now add an account and click on Work or School account.
  • Then click on ‘ Scan a QR code ’.
  • Now scan the QR code on the  iSAMS screen and it will set up your account which will have the title ‘ Mill Hill School iSAMS ’ (rather than the one that says Mill Hill School Foundation which is used to verify your Office 365/email account).
  • Before you enter the verification code, click the box that says ‘ Don ’ t ask again for 7 days
  • Now enter your verification code and click Verify. ’.
