My iSAMS account has been locked

2FA Authentication is required when using iSAMs away from the school buildings.

Accessing iSAMS from home using 2FA

1.    Go to the play store on a mobile phone and install an authentication app; on to a mobile device – (e.g., Google or  Microsoft Authenticator)

2.    Open iSAMS (from home) Click on log in; this will generate an email from iSAMS

3.    Check for the email from iSAMS. In this email there will be a code to enter in to the iSAMS log on screen.

4.    Once the code has been entered you will see a QR code appear on the iSAMS screen

5.    Open the authenification app on the mobile phone click on the + , “Scan a QR code” will appear.

6.    Using this app scan the QR code available on the iSAMS screen this will issue a verification code (on the mobile phone)

7.    Enter the verification code on to the iSAMS screen.

8.    Click on the little tick box to save the setting for 7 day and verify.

You should not be able to log in to iSAMS for the next 7 days from home without any verification required.
