If you receive an email notification "This website is blocked - notification" when trying to access systems such as MyConcern/Evolve/Every/Kerboodle and other systems not related to the schools, but which re-used your Foundation credentials, please read the message carefully and follow the instructions to rectify the issue.
For the same reason (credential re-use) you might also receive a pop-up from ThreatSpike "Blocked login to phishing page":
At MHSF, most systems use Single-Sign-On (SSO) via Office 365, Google or Firefly to authenticate staff automatically, however, some systems cannot use SSO which requires you to enter your credentials manually.
This alert is activated when you log on to a system by entering a username and password that matches the foundation domain password (your computer password). Per the Acceptable Use Policy, users of the Foundation's systems must not share credentials (username and password) between systems, whether these systems are related or unrelated to your work.
I changed the password, but I am still blocked from accessing the system
Once the password is changed, you may want to log off and log-on or restart your computer to expedite the process of updating the system - computers tend to cache data to speed up the log-on process and they may hold your old credentials for a period of time.
How can IT help?
IT will advise you to read and follow the instructions on the notification, we may also ask you to restart your computer. If you have followed the instructions and are still blocked, please contact IT and provide all the information to help you get up and running quickly.
System integration in the future
We are working with our software partners to improve the security and integrate our systems with Office 365, Google or Firefly, and in the coming weeks and months, you will receive instructions to prompt you to change your login method from manual to Single-Sign-On (SSO). Please follow these instructions, as the manual login method will be phased out when possible.
