  • Unique Password: Don't re-use your Foundation login password for personal banking, personal emails, or other standalone educational software even if used in the Foundation  thelogonpassword you use within the Foundation must not be used elsewhere. Most of you will log back into new systems or ask for your passwords to be changed. Most of our systems are connected via Microsoft Office 365 single sign-on, which means the same password can seamlessly sign you on to most platforms; if the system doesn't support Microsoft Office 365 single sign-on (e.g. MyConcern), then please do not re-use the same password. Foundation systems are designed to detect the re-use of Foundation passwords, and a security alert may automatically reset your password when password re-use is detected.
  • Attachments in Emails: The general rule if you are not expecting the email, do not open it or download the attachment. If in doubt, please email soc@millhill.org.uk and wait for advice.
  • Requests or Sharing credentials:
    • DO NOT PROVIDE YOUR CREDENTIALS VIA LINKS SENT IN AN EMAIL. No organisation will ask you for your credentials via email or a link embedded in an email.
    • DO NOT RESPOND TO REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION OR PAYMENT. However innocent the request may appear (donation, request for information about a person, gift, etc.) do not action unsolicited requests for information.
      • Data requests must be addressed through compliance@millhill.org.uk,
      • Payment requests must only be handled with identification, manager's confirmation & approval and finance checks,
  • File Sharing, Files should only be accessed using foundation devices. If you are using your personal device, you will be unable to map your work files - you can access these files via SharePoint, Firefly, or directly.
