This applies to cases where pupils have been added to the Teams group after the initial creation of Teams group.
The problem - Pupils are in the Teams group but cannot see their section in Class Notebook or the Notebook entirely.
Steps to Resolve Missing Class Notebook Access in Microsoft Teams
Remove the pupil from the Teams group:
- Open Microsoft Teams.
- Go to the Teams group where the pupil is a member.
- Navigate to the "Manage Team" section.
- Find the pupil’s name, then click the "Remove" option next to their name.
Wait for 1 hour after removing the pupil.
Re-add the pupil to the Teams group:
- After 1 hour, go back to the "Manage Team" section.
- Use the "Add member" option to re-add the pupil to the group.
Wait for another 1 hour:
- After re-adding the pupil, it may take up to an hour for them to gain access to the OneNote Class Notebook.
